The making here is easy. The edges of the garment (cuffs excepted) are in seed stitch, the rest in st st; the ties are in a short lacy stitch that echoes the cuff. A great gift garment too, since it's short and quick to make and the size can be adjusted somewhat by the ties.
This is knit with size 9 needles with crocheted edging completed with a size I hook.
