Level: Advanced Beginner
Once you understand the simple mechanics of lace knitting you’ll become addicted. We’ll take the mystery out of yarn overs (yo), knit 2 together (k2tog), slip, slip, knits (ssk), and the language of lace knitting. We’ll also be looking at lace charts. To really understand the mechanics, we’ll knit a bookmark.
Materials: 50 yds. fingering weight yarn preferably solid color, size 6 needles
Requirements: Must know how to cast on, knit, purl, bind off, and know how to read a pattern
