We will be knitting a pair of booties for a wee little one. These booties start with the sole and end with cute crossover straps.
The class is loosely based on the pattern “Saartje’s bootees” by Saartje de Bruijn.
You can make the booties in a single color or learn to change colors along the way. Also learn to add buttonholes for cute buttons.
Materials: About 100 yards of fingering weight yarn with needles of the appropriate size (size US2/US3). We recommend Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino for the yarn.
Prerequisite: Must know how to knit, purl, cast on and cast off. Must have done basic increases and decreases such as m1, Kf&b, K2tog & ssk.
