Level: IntermediateLearn to use Double-Pointed Needles or two Circular Knitting Needles to make these easy, easy Honeycomb Wrist Warmers.
Perfect for someone who has not made thumb gussets before. The honeycomb stitch creates a thick, squishy fabric to keep you extra warm.
Learn to cast on and create a seamless join for the wrist warmers. In the first session, you will also learn the honeycomb stitch. In the second session, learn to divide for the thumb and finish up a pair. In the last session, get your second one finished or learn to make fingers or other variations on the simple wrist warmer.
Wrist Warmers make excellent and quick stocking stuffers for young and old alike!
Materials: Machine-washable Worsted Weight Yarn - about 200 yards. Malabrigo Rios is recommended. One set of DPNs (double-pointed needles) in US 6 or two 24" or 32" circular needles US 6 (Addi Turbo needles highly recommended). Please download and print out a copy before the beginning of class.
