Get started on a beret that teaches you plenty of techniques at the same time. Learn to Cable and use a cable needle. Learn Mae’s technique for joining for working in the round without twisting your stitches. Knit on circular needles and create a cute beret that will be perfect for keeping or giving away.
Materials:
Worsted or chunky yarn. One set DPNs and one 16” needle circular to get the appropriate gauge. 1 stitch marker, cable needle, and tapestry needle. Pattern will be provided in the class.
Requirements:
Techniques from K101 and K102 (cast on, knit, purl, bind off, decreases K2tog & Ssk and increases M1 and Kf&b, Pf&b, yo if doing the eyelet beret)
