  |  | Spiral Staircase Socks were particularly designed for cotton-blend sock yarns, and are a wonderful way to show off variegated colors. The stitch pattern is nearly as stretchy as ribbing. This pattern will give you a lovely, hard wearing, cool summer cotton sock. Beginner to intermediate level. The sock is constructed top down, with a short row heel and grafted toe.
Finished size: US women's shoe size 8. Foot length 9 inches.
Gauge: 10 SPI on US 0 (2mm)
Materials Needed:
100 grams (aprx 420 meters) variegated cotton/wool/nylon blend sock yarn.
5 - 2mm (US size 0) double pointed sock needles, or size needed to obtain gauge (10 st/inch). Metal needles are best as cotton yarns don't slide well on bamboo.
