About Us

Nine Rubies Knitting was started in 2006, the creation of a mother-and-daughter team.

- Saloni Howard-Sarin, who decided that it was time to own her own business after 20 years in Silicon Valley.

- Sudha Sarin, who decided that managing a store with her daughter was better than managing one for other people.

Of the two, Sudha’s the better knitter.
